Several remarkable things - I just returned from a trip to Glencoe and Glen Etive (more on this - read on) to find that quite surprisingly I had scored a DD. Yay! That was rather unexpected.
Anyway, the weekend trip was largely perfect - winter has arrived early in the northwest and there was a thick layer of powder snow lying even in the floor of the Glens. The sun was shining, with no clouds whatsoever on saturday and only enough to light the sky magically on the sunday. Snowy mountains, frozen rivers, clear sunlight and nothing to do but take pictures - the results of this weekend should be up quite soon.
