I just had an awesome time at Dundonell in the far northwest - winter showed it still had something left to give and it snowed and snowed. We did a 300m ice climb without placing any protection cos the ice was just so solid ('twas SWEET!). Next day dawned awesomely clea and crisp, but after we slugged it up through the powder snow for a few hours we got hit by 100% whiteout and had to nav off.
So, anyway, I got back from all that yesterday, and in a burst of inspired plan I'm going off to Steall and Nevis again in a few hours.
